Every bag is weighed on a certified scale in the van, at your door, and you approve the real total by call or text before any card is charged. Never after. The calculator below is an estimate from a weight you guessed; the scale is the one that counts.
Priced by the bed, not by the pound.
A comforter is a flat charge for the item. It never goes on the scale as well, and it never counts toward the 30 lb minimum.

If one turns up in a bag it comes back to you unwashed, the same as a dry-clean-only label, and we will tell you what we found rather than guess.
Ask us about these.
- Blankets & throws
- Mattress pads
- Sleeping bags
- Curtains
- Dog beds & pet blankets
Every one of these differs enough that a list price would be a guess. Send a photo and you get a real number back, usually the same day.
Duvet covers are Wash & Fold. A duvet cover goes in with your regular laundry and is charged by weight at $2.09/lb, just like your sheets. The duvet insert itself is considered a bulky item and is priced separately based on bed size.
Hypoallergenic and baby
cost nothing extra.
No upcharge for any detergent option. Hypoallergenic and baby-safe are included at no extra cost, options many laundry services charge extra for. Your own bottle is free too, if you would rather we used it. The reason is that charging for a gentle detergent is charging people more for having eczema or a newborn.
What that is worth over a year
It is the one place we are cheaper than nearly everyone on this route, and it compounds: a family running hypoallergenic on a 25 lb weekly bag saves the price of a whole extra order over a year, without changing anything else about the service.

What will mine cost?
Pick a bag size, a detergent and a speed. This is an estimate from a weight you guessed. The scale in the van is what you actually pay, and you approve it first.
· 5 lb to 80 lb
Priced for the item and never weighed. A comforter is not put on the scale as well, and bulky items do not count toward the 30 lb minimum.
This is an estimate. Your load is weighed on the van when we collect it and the final price is confirmed before we charge you, never after.
How this compares locally
Wash and fold across metro Atlanta generally runs $1.25–$2.50 a pound. We sit in the middle-to-upper part of that band and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What the $2.09 includes
Everything. Pickup and delivery to any address we serve, all three detergents including hypoallergenic and baby, and your order washed on its own rather than mixed in with other people's. None of that is an upgrade here. There is no delivery fee, no detergent surcharge, no fuel charge and no different price depending on which town you are in.
Cheaper per-pound rates do exist on this route. The thing worth checking before you compare them is what sits outside the per-pound number, because delivery, the detergent and the turnaround are the three that are usually priced separately. Ours are in the rate.
So the number is $2.09 a pound, it is the same number in every town we serve, and you see the weighed total and approve it before we charge you.
Pricing questions
How much does wash and fold laundry service cost in Gwinnett County?
Bag Chasers charges $2.09 per pound for wash and fold, with a 30 lb minimum and pickup and delivery included. That is one rate, not a set of tiers: laundry is collected and returned in two business days, and next-day delivery costs $0.50 a pound more ($2.59 a pound all in). For context, wash and fold in metro Atlanta typically runs $1.25–$2.50 per pound, and services at the low end of that range usually charge separately for pickup or apply a higher order minimum.
What is the minimum order?
30 pounds, which is roughly two full kitchen-sized bags or about a week of laundry for a family. If your bag weighs less than 30 lb you are charged for 30 lb. You are never turned away, and there is no separate small-order fee on top.
Is pickup and delivery really free?
Yes. Pickup and delivery are included in the $2.09 per-pound rate, with no delivery fee, fuel surcharge or distance charge anywhere in the service area. The price on the rate card is the price.
How do you know what my laundry weighs?
Your bag is weighed on a certified scale in the van, at your door, before it leaves your street. You get the actual weight and the actual total by call or text, and you approve it before any card is charged. Nothing is charged after the fact.
What if the final price is more than the estimate?
You see the real number and approve it before we charge you, so a higher weight never becomes a surprise on your card. The calculator on this site is an estimate based on the weight you guessed. If your bag comes in heavier, we call or text you the real total and wait for your yes.
How much does it cost to wash a comforter?
By the size of the bed it is made for: $25 for a twin or full, $30 for a queen, $35 for a king. Down or feather fill adds $10. A weighted blanket is $40. Duvets and quilts are priced the same way as comforters. Every bulky item is a flat charge for the item. It is never put on the scale as well, and it does not count toward the 30 lb minimum.
Do you charge extra for hypoallergenic or baby-safe detergent?
No. There is no upcharge for any detergent option. Standard, hypoallergenic and baby-safe are all available at no extra cost. Hypoallergenic is free and clear with no dyes, perfume or optical brighteners; baby is fragrance-free and formulated for infant clothing and bedding. Both are washed with an extra rinse. Most pickup-and-delivery services bill these as a per-pound upgrade, which charges people more for having sensitive skin or a newborn. We would rather they just switched to us.
How do I pay?
By card, after your bag is weighed and you have approved the total. There is no deposit, nothing is taken when you book, and no card is charged before you have seen the real weight and the real price.
Should I tip the driver?
Never required, always appreciated. Pickup, delivery and the whole route are included in the per-pound rate, so a tip is not covering a fee we left out. It goes to the driver. You can add one after delivery rather than up front, because tipping for work before it happens is not really tipping.
Nothing is charged until it is weighed.
Two minutes to book. We call or text to confirm. Nothing is charged until your bag is weighed.
