By the pound.
Folded by hand.
The everyday service. Clothes, towels, sheets, uniforms, kit bags: anything that goes through a domestic machine, charged by weight, with pickup and delivery in the rate.
Everything that happens in between.
-
Sort
Sorted by color and by fabric before anything else happens. Anything tagged dry-clean-only or hand-wash is pulled out here, not discovered later.

-
Treat
Any stain you flagged in the booking notes is treated by hand before it goes near a dryer. Heat is what turns a mark into a permanent one, so this is the step that has to happen first.

-
Wash
Your order runs in its own machine, in whichever of the three detergents you picked. It is never combined with another household, which is the part most services leave unsaid.

-
Dry
Medium heat by default, because that is what most of a mixed bag wants. Tell us low heat or air-dry only and we follow it for the whole order.

-
Fold
By hand, squared at the edges, so it can go straight into a drawer rather than onto the bed to be done again. There is no automatic folder in this building.

-
Bag
Stacked back into your bag in the order it will be put away, so the first thing out is the first thing you need.

-
Deliver
Back to the same doorstep in the turnaround you picked, counted from the pickup rather than from the order. You get a call or a text when it lands.

Everything a home machine takes
No sorting needed. Put it all in one bag. We sort at the facility.
- Everyday clothing: shirts, pants, jeans, dresses
- Underwear, socks and sleepwear
- Towels, tea towels and bath mats
- Bed sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers
- Work uniforms and scrubs
- School uniforms and sports kit
- Gym gear and swimwear
- Cloth napkins, aprons and table linen
Three options.
None of them cost extra.
Standard, hypoallergenic and baby, included on every order. Not an upgrade, not a per-pound add-on, not a checkbox that changes your total.
Most pickup-and-delivery services offer the same three and bill the gentle ones as a premium. That is backwards. The households that need free-and-clear need it every week, for eczema, for allergies, for a newborn, so a per-pound surcharge is not an upsell, it is a recurring charge for a medical fact. It costs us very little to stock all three, and it is worth more to us as a reason to switch than as a line on your bill.
Prefer your own? Leave the bottle with the bag. Also no charge, because it is your laundry.
Tide and Gain, the same detergents most households already buy, at commercial dose. A light clean scent. What most orders run.
Free and clear: no dyes, no perfume, no optical brighteners. Loads run with an extra rinse. For eczema, psoriasis, allergies and sensitive skin.
Fragrance-free and dye-free, formulated for newborn and infant clothing, bedding and cloth diapers. Washed on its own with an extra rinse.
One rate, one wash
Collected Monday, back Wednesday. Pickup and delivery included, like every order.
The same wash, moved to the front of the line. Counted from the pickup, not from when you booked. No weekend surcharge.
One rate, everything included. Pickup and delivery, and a 30 lb minimum. All three detergents, standard, hypoallergenic and baby, with no upcharge. Comforters and bulky items are priced per item from $25 and are never weighed.
Next day changes the queue your bag joins, not the way it is washed. A standard order and a next-day order get the same sorting, the same machines and the same hand fold.
Folded by hand, by people who fold laundry all day. That is the whole trick, and it is why it comes back the same way twice.
Wash & fold questions
What detergent do you use?
You choose from three, standard, hypoallergenic or baby, and all three are included at no extra charge. Standard is a commercial detergent with a light clean scent. Hypoallergenic is free and clear: no dyes, no perfume, no optical brighteners. Baby is fragrance-free and dye-free for infant clothing, bedding and cloth diapers. If you would rather we used your own bottle, leave it with the bag and we will use it, also at no charge.
What water temperature and dryer settings do you use?
Warm wash and medium heat by default, which is safe for the large majority of everyday clothing. Tell us in special instructions if you want cold wash, hot wash, low heat or air-dry only for particular items and we will follow it.
Will you wash dry-clean-only items?
No. We do not offer dry cleaning or hand washing. Bag Chasers is a wash-and-fold service: anything tagged dry-clean-only or hand-wash is set aside at sorting and returned unwashed. We call or text you when we set something aside so it is never a surprise on delivery.
Can you treat stains?
Yes, and it works far better if you tell us. Note the stain and what caused it in the special instructions and it gets pre-treated at sorting, before the dryer sets it permanently. We do not guarantee removal, and no honest laundry does, but a flagged stain is treated and an unflagged one usually is not caught in time.
What happens if something is damaged or lost?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we investigate the order and make it right. Every order is tagged and tracked through the facility, so a missing item is usually located rather than compensated. Bulk-weight laundry services, ours included, are not the right choice for irreplaceable or high-value garments.
Do I need to check my pockets?
Yes, and please empty every pocket before the bag goes out. We check pockets at sorting and set aside anything we find, but a bag is weighed and sorted at volume and the only reliable check is the one you do at home. Keys, cards, phones, AirPods, lipstick, pens and paper money all survive a wash badly, and a pen or a lipstick can mark a whole load rather than one garment. Anything we do find is bagged separately and returned with your order.
Is there anything you will not wash?
Yes. We do not take dry-clean-only or hand-wash-labeled items, leather, suede or fur, wedding dresses and formalwear, feather or memory-foam pillows, electric blankets, rugs with rubber backing, or anything contaminated with bodily fluids, mold, chemicals, oil, solvent or anything hazardous. Contaminated and hazardous items are a health and safety matter for the people handling them, not a preference. Anything on this list is pulled at sorting and returned unwashed, and we call or text you rather than letting it be a surprise on delivery.
Will my clothes shrink or fade?
Some things shrink or fade in any wash, at home or with us, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Cotton knits, denim and anything untreated can move slightly on their first few washes, and dark colors give up dye for the first several. We wash warm and dry on medium by default, which is the setting that minimises it for the large majority of everyday clothing. If you have something you want run cold and air-dried, say so in the special instructions and we will follow it exactly.
Are my clothes folded by hand?
Yes, every order is folded by hand and bagged clean and ready to put away. Nothing goes through an automatic folding machine.
How much does wash and fold laundry service cost in Gwinnett County?
Bag Chasers charges $2.09 per pound for wash and fold, with a 30 lb minimum and pickup and delivery included. That is one rate, not a set of tiers: laundry is collected and returned in two business days, and next-day delivery costs $0.50 a pound more ($2.59 a pound all in). For context, wash and fold in metro Atlanta typically runs $1.25–$2.50 per pound, and services at the low end of that range usually charge separately for pickup or apply a higher order minimum.
Put the bag down.
Two minutes to book. We call or text to confirm. Nothing is charged until your bag is weighed.
